Nexus is a new operating system for trustworthy computing. It can take advantage of Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) to issue trustworthy certificates of program properties. It provides user-level device drivers, isolated protection domains, interprocess communication, and partial POSIX support. It runs on x86 hardware.

Este é o primeiro lançamento público, quer como uma imagem de CD inicializável e tarball fonte. Esta versão pode executar algumas aplicações (como MPlayer) e assume o controle da TPM. Ele ainda não efectuar qualquer verificação de controle de acesso.
This is the first public release, both as a bootable CD image and source tarball. This version can run some applications (such as MPlayer) and takes control of the TPM. It does not yet perform any access control checks.
