MonkeyChat is a simplistic peer to peer chat program written in Java. It works on any platform (not all tested) that has Java 1.3 or higher. It can be used to send messages and files across the Internet or a LAN. It is available in English and Portuguese.

Esta versão possui uma atualizações de usabilidade. Na área de mensagem de texto a palavra agora wraps, e pode agora reproduzir sons quando as mensagens chegam. O programa agora também salva as configurações, incluindo o quão grande era e onde estava na tela.

This version features a few usability updates. In the message area the text now word wraps, and it can now play sounds when messages arrive. The program now also saves settings including how big it was and where it was on the screen.
