The Linux Backup Utility (LBU) is a simple, menu-driven script for performing backups and restoration of data from tars, compressed tars, and tapes. It supports basic hardware compression as well as variable hardware block sizes. It lets you configure tar block sizes, exclusion lists, inclusion lists and it supports wildcards.

Adicionado suporte para tamanhos de alcatrão novo bloco, compressão de hardware básico e tamanhos de blocos variáveis hardware, fixado um bug que impedia que surgem quando a tentativa de fazer backups completos, bem como várias pequenas melhorias e correções de bugs.
Added support for new tar block sizes, basic hardware compression, and variable hardware block sizes, fixed a bug that kept popping up when attempting to do full backups as well as various minor enhancements and bug fixes.
