This release fixed a problem with the Update download button not working due to an incomplete HTML::Parser update. Three patches were added to fix security issues in Perl.
A atualização é dividido em duas parte para acomodar a limitação de espaço livre. A principal mudança é uma actualização do kernel com mais suporte de hardware. A segunda mudança importante é a atualização dnsmasq em resposta à vulnerabilidade do DNS CVE-2008-1447. Como de costume, esta versão pode ser instalado como uma atualização de versões anteriores 1.4.x, ou com ready-to-go ISO ou USB inicializável ou imagens PXE para uma nova instalação.

Major security fixes
The update is split into two part to accommodate the free space limitation. The main change is a kernel upgrade with more hardware supported. The second important change is a dnsmasq upgrade in response to the DNS vulnerability CVE-2008-1447. As usual, this version can be installed as an update from previous 1.4.x versions, or with ready-to-go ISO or USB bootable images or PXE for a fresh install.

Major feature enhancements
The Linux 2.4 kernel and iptables are now used. All ECI ADSL supported modems and the Alcatel Speedtouch 330 modem are now supported. The port forwarding interface was improved with support for port ranges and PPTP (GRE). Danish, Dutch, Greek, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish languages are now available and can be selected from the Web interface. Improvements were made to log reporting, the open connections display, dial-on-demand traffic selection, and traffic graphing (which now uses MRTG).
Dnrd foi substituído por DNSMasq. As atualizações incluem Speedtouch, Snort, SSH, e um cliente PPTP. Novos módulos incluem ip_masq_ipsec e ip_masq_h323. Várias línguas foram acrescentadas (alemão, francês, turco), assim como a configuração de backup / restore, suporte para o cartão Pulsar ADSL PCI estático, DHCP, alias na interface de vermelho, com ligação ADSL-on-demand, e gráficos de proxy.

Multiple languages were added (German, French, Turkish), as was configuration backup/restore, support for the Pulsar PCI ADSL card, static DHCP leases, aliasing on the red interface, dial-on-demand ADSL, and proxy graphs.
