docXP is a programmer's tool that can be used to
generate XML and HTML describing PHP classes. It
supports XSLT themes, four different XSLT
processors, and includes a complete
reusable 'reflection' package.

This module implements a simple Literate Programming capability for Perl. Just as Perl's Plain Old Documentation (POD) is intended to be just powerful enough to be useful while remaining easy for the programmer, Literate Perl (LIP) is intended to bring the basic benefits of Literate Programming to Perl without radically altering the way programmers/authors work.

rubydoc is an online initiative aimed at collecting
user feedback, experiences, and stories with ruby
classes and modules. It aims to be a hybrid
between perldoc and php.net's documentation.

XMLPublication is a set of tools to generate Web pages from (possibly
large) desktop documents or other structured documents, such as books
with paragraphs, or tabular data. It cuts documents into Web pages,
and creates customizable multi-indices. All this is done through a
repeatable process in which data is separated from presentation and
user settings. It uses XML techniques, particularly XSLT and Ant.

The Intro to Bash Programming HOWTO is meant for newbies who wish to learn how to write shell scripts for bash, the GNU Boure-Again shell. It contains several samples. It is very early in its development, but it is hoped that some people might find it useful.

The PHPdocutron is an application to document PHP
classes. It uses MySQL to store information about
classes, methods, and arguments. Documentation can
be generated for multiple classes in
cross-referenced HTML or XML. The result is a
javadoc-like HTML document that describes the PHP
classes.

The goal of po4a (po for anything) is to ease the
creation and maintenance of translations using
gettext tools on areas where they were not
expected, like documentation.

Proc2Dox is a pre-processor addon for the Doxygen
documentation generator. It allows Doxygen to run
over Pro*C code.

Pod::Manual is a module that gathers the pod of
several Perl modules into a comprehensive manual.
Its primary objective is to generate a document
that can be printed, but it also allow to output
the document into other formats (e.g., docbook).
podmanual is a utility that uses Pod::Manual.

Jinja24Doc is a lightweight documentation generator for Python modules with jinja2 templates. It is part of the Poor HTTP group tools (WSGI connector, WSGI/HTTP Server, and mod_python connector). It can load modules and get documentation for its items. No configuration is needed, only jinja2 templates.

Genrd is a bash shell script frontend to Robodoc and Robodoc-DB which
greatly simplifies Robodoc's use with multiple files. Robodoc-DB (also
included) is a version of Robodoc which has been modified to produce
Docbook SGML. It generates source code documentation from almost any
language (including PHP, C, HTML, and others), producing a variety of
formats, including PDF, HTML, text, and RTF.

XHTML Doclet is a standards-compliant alternative
to the Javadoc standard HTML doclet. It revises
the document structure to exclude outdated tags
and inline styles, creates valid XHTML markup, and
provides better hooks for more flexible CSS
manipulation.

caspar offers Makefile snippets for common tasks
such as installing configuration files and things under
version control, and typesetting LaTeX, POD, DocBook
XML, and DocBook SGML documents.
