ShoStats is a reimplementation of phpSysInfo in
Perl, useful for running from crontab and
outputting the stats to a PHP include file, which
can then be displayed on a hosting account. It is
modular and configurable, including modules to support both Linux, OpenBSD, and NetBSD, an output module for PHP include files, and transfer modules for output to stdout (which can be redirected or piped) and uploading to an FTP server.

The General Purpose Hash Function Algorithm
library contains implementations for a series of
commonly used additive and rotative string hashing
algorithms in the C++ programming language.

The Guarded Memory Move tool is useful for studying
buffer overflows and catching them together with a
"good" stack image. It uses dynamic function call
interception to catch the most common functions that are
used by attackers to exploit stack buffers. It uses the
LD_PRELOAD capability, and, on discovering an exploit,
will produce a core dump with the necessary information
to debug the exploit and fix the software.

libppm is a lightweight P6-type (raw PPM) image
manipulation library than can handle both 24-bit
(standard) and 48-bit (extended) images. It is
designed with simplicity in mind, and runs on both
big-endian and little-endian machines.

gkrellmoon is a gkrellm plugin that shows the
phase of the moon.

RetroWeb is an extension for RetroForth intended
to ease the task of creating Web pages. It is
still close to HTML, but offers a more compact
syntax. Most importantly, it allows you to work
with the full power of Forth to generate HTML
code. It can be used to create both static HTML
files and simple dynamic CGI responses.

teepeedee is a small, fast, single-threaded file
server. It is very scalable, and can serve
multiple files over HTTPS, HTTP and FTP
simultaneously, listening on any number of
ports and providing entirely different views of
the filesystem to different users. It supports
most of the draft-ietf-ftpext-mlst-16.txt FTP
extensions, as well as EPRT, EPSV, AUTH TLS,
and HTTP 1.1 persistent connections.

csup is a solid CVSup replacement for
checkout-only functionality. It still misses a few
features that CVSup offers, such as CVS mode and
authentication, but those are not necessary if all
you want to do with it is update your FreeBSD
source tree or ports tree.

jIRleeCh is a Java IRC client that is mainly used
to ease the acquisition of XDCC packs. It relieves
the user from the need to know and type IRC
commands to get XDCC Bot files or to use multiple
tools and plugins to do so. It has an easy-to-use
GUI interface with all the basic IRC client
features. It parses packetnews.com to search for
packs. No IRC knowledge is needed to use it, as it
automatically connects to a network, channel, and
queues a pack.

OpenGaim is an instant messaging or "text chat" client capable of
communicating over many protocols, including Jabber, AOL Instant
Messenger (AIM), ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Internet Relay
Chat (IRC), and more. It is a loose relative of the Gaim project and
contains much of the source code in Gaim itself. However, OpenGaim
aims to provide quicker releases to fix major problems, and advanced
customization options and features not available in Gaim.
